Sam Green is a Cohort 2021 Fellow in the Cyclotron Road Division and the co-founder and CTO of Semiotic AI. Green has developed expertise in cryptography and machine learning for the past decade. Previously, he was a senior member of technical staff at Sandia National Laboratories. At Sandia, he performed vulnerability assessments of cryptosystems and led related interdisciplinary research. He was also a lead instructor for Sandia's cryptographic engineering course. In 2019, he received his computer science Ph.D. under the supervision of Çetin Kaya Koç, from the University of California, Santa Barbara. His graduate work focused on co-design methods for efficient deep reinforcement learning.
