Edson Perez

Edson Perez is co-founder and COO of PeraWatt, a company commercializing novel soft magnetic materials that dramatically increase energy efficiency across AI data centers, electric vehicles, and industrial power systems. Before PeraWatt, Perez spent a decade in energy policy and market development, advising the California State Senate Leader and leading the California portfolio for a national advanced energy industry association. He holds a B.A. from UC Davis and an MBA from Georgetown University.
PeraWatt is developing a new class of soft magnetic materials that will redefine energy efficiency in AI data centers, electric vehicles, and industrial power systems—enabling them to run dramatically cooler, smaller, and more efficiently, without relying on critical minerals and with stronger domestic supply chains.
